About Linking the Next Steps
Linking the Next Steps Inc. (LTNS) is a registered Australian charity shaped by lived experience and a shared understanding that people thrive when they are given the right opportunities, practical tools and support to build on their strengths.
Founded by people with lived experience of autisim, neurodivergence, and invisible disabilities caring and navigating complex support, education and community systems, LTNS brings this understanding into the way our programs are designed and delivered. Lived experience is not simply part of our story, it helps shape what we teach, how we teach it, and how we create inclusive learning environments where different ways of communicating, learning and participating are recognised and respected.
Through practical training, structured programs, workshops, mentoring, peer support and hands-on learning, we support people to develop confidence, independence, self-advocacy, practical life skills and workplace readiness. Our approach focuses on learning by doing, giving participants opportunities to practise and apply skills in ways that are relevant to everyday life, education, employment and their individual goals.
We also work alongside families, carers, education providers, community organisations and other partners to strengthen understanding, reduce barriers and create more inclusive pathways and opportunities.
At the heart of LTNS is a belief in connection, understanding and opportunity — recognising people's strengths and supporting them to take meaningful next steps towards the life, goals and future they choose.
Everyone is welcome.

Our Mission
To relieve distress, disadvantage, and hardship experienced by people living with invisible disabilities, their families, and carers through practical, person-centred programs that build confidence, independence, wellbeing, workplace readiness, and community connection.
We do this through mentoring, peer support, life-skills development, employment-readiness programs, community workshops, and inclusive opportunities that empower individuals to recognise their strengths and create meaningful pathways toward their goals.

Our Vision
Inclusive communities where individuals living with invisible disabilities are recognised for their strengths, have equitable access to opportunities, and are supported to participate fully in education, employment, and community life.
We work toward a future where young people, families, and communities have the tools, confidence, and connections they need to navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and thrive.
