At Linking the Next Steps, we believe in building a more inclusive, supportive world—one connection at a time. Our programs empower neurodivergent individuals and others with diverse abilities to thrive through capacity-building experiences, employment pathways, and inclusive travel and social opportunities. But none of this would be possible without passionate volunteers who believe in what we stand for.

Are you someone who wants to make a real impact in your community? Do you have time, energy, and a willingness to support young people and adults as they build confidence, skills, and independence? If yes—we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

​

We are currently welcoming volunteers across our programs and events, including:

• Youth programs like Next Step Voyagers, Adventurers, and Ignite

• Community events and fundraisers

• Workplace skill-building programs for young adults

• Creative and recreational workshops

 

To volunteer with us, you’ll need:

• A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

• A valid National Police Check

• A strong alignment with our core values (see below)

Volunteers must be 18+ and willing to undertake an informal onboarding chat to ensure we’re the right fit for each other.
