Building Confidence, Independence and Community Connection
Our Insightful Hubs are structured, practical training workshops designed to build skills for everyday life, wellbeing, employment and navigating the NDIS. Each Hub has a specific focus, giving participants opportunities to learn, explore and practise skills through inclusive and interactive activities.
HUB 1 – Find Your Voice
Build confidence in expressing your thoughts, needs, boundaries and questions, while exploring communication styles and asking for clarification. This Hub focuses on finding and using your own voice, rather than workplace teamwork or interview communication. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 2 – Thriving at Work
Develop practical skills for communicating and working effectively with others in the workplace, including teamwork, professional relationships, workplace expectations, social cues and managing misunderstandings. Unlike Find Your Voice, this Hub focuses on communication with others within a workplace and team environment. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 3 – Know Your Workplace
Understand workplace expectations, employee rights and responsibilities, reasonable adjustments, acceptable workplace practices and where to seek support. This Hub focuses on understanding the workplace and how an identified individual need may translate into a workplace adjustment. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 4 – Getting Job Ready
Build practical skills for preparing for employment, including identifying strengths and transferable skills, creating or updating a résumé, preparing for interviews and managing interview nerves. Unlike Know Your Workplace, this Hub focuses on preparing to apply for and gain employment, including applying your known communication and sensory needs during recruitment and interviews. HUB 5 – Money & My Goals
Develop practical skills for managing personal money, everyday expenses and working towards individual goals by breaking them into manageable steps. This Hub focuses on personal budgeting and personal goals—not NDIS funding or support budgets. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 6 – Managing My Day
Explore practical strategies for planning, organising and managing everyday responsibilities, including routines, time, appointments, reminders, prioritising and starting tasks. This Hub focuses on using planning strategies while accounting for individual energy, fatigue and sensory needs, rather than identifying or regulating those needs. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 7 – Understanding Me
Build greater awareness of your individual sensory and physical needs and learn to recognise signs of overload, stress, overwhelm and burnout. This Hub focuses on recognising and understanding what your mind and body are telling you—before exploring how to respond to those needs. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 8 – Looking After Me
Explore practical ways to respond to your individual needs through regulation, breaks, rest and recovery, movement, managing energy, asking for help and setting boundaries. Building on Understanding Me, this Hub moves from recognising what you need to exploring what you can do to look after yourself. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 7 – My Plan, My Supports
Build your understanding of your NDIS plan, including terminology, support budgets, funding, providers, supports and service agreements. Unlike Money & My Goals, this Hub focuses specifically on understanding and using NDIS funding and supports—not personal budgeting. For more Information Click HERE
HUB 8 – Taking Control of My Plan
Build confidence in taking a more active role in decisions about your NDIS plan and supports, including communicating your goals and needs, keeping evidence, preparing for reassessment and knowing when to seek assistance. Building on My Plan, My Supports, this Hub moves from understanding your plan to developing greater choice and control in directing your supports. For more Information Click HERE
Our Hub Participant Outcomes
Through our Insightful Hubs, participants have opportunities to build confidence and self-advocacy, strengthen communication and workplace skills, develop practical strategies for managing everyday life, better understand and respond to their individual needs, build employment readiness, and develop greater knowledge and confidence when navigating their NDIS plan and supports.
