About Linking the Next Steps
Linking the Next Step Inc. (LTNS) is a registered Australian charity supporting young people, families, carers, and individuals living with invisible disabilities to build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.
Founded by people with lived experience, we understand firsthand what it means to navigate systems that weren't designed with you in mind. Through workshops, mentoring, peer support, and employment-readiness programs, we create safe, inclusive spaces where people can learn, connect, and thrive.
Our work focuses on building confidence and self-advocacy, supporting employment pathways, strengthening community connections, developing practical life skills, and reducing barriers to inclusion for participants, families, and carers alike.
We believe meaningful change happens through connection, understanding, and opportunity. Every workshop, volunteer, donor, and community partner helps someone take their next step toward a more confident and connected future.
Everyone is welcome.

Our Mission
To relieve distress, disadvantage, and hardship experienced by people living with invisible disabilities, their families, and carers through practical, person-centred programs that build confidence, independence, wellbeing, workplace readiness, and community connection.
We do this through mentoring, peer support, life-skills development, employment-readiness programs, community workshops, and inclusive opportunities that empower individuals to recognise their strengths and create meaningful pathways toward their goals.

Our Vision
Inclusive communities where individuals living with invisible disabilities are recognised for their strengths, have equitable access to opportunities, and are supported to participate fully in education, employment, and community life.
We work toward a future where young people, families, and communities have the tools, confidence, and connections they need to navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and thrive.
