Workshops That Spark Growth, Confidence & Real-Life Skills

Next Step Ignite is our empowering workshop series for neurodivergent teens aged 16–22y/o, with a focus on building life readiness, emotional intelligence, and job-prep skills in a supportive, inclusive space. Developed by professionals with lived and professional experience in disability and youth development, Ignite helps teens explore their strengths, navigate challenges, and build a toolkit for adult life. Through role play, group projects, reflective discussions, and creative activities, young people discover how to speak up for themselves, manage stress, and set meaningful goals.

Each Ignite term focuses on a different life area—from self-identity and emotional regulation, to communication, budgeting, job skills, and navigating the workplace or community. The workshops aren’t dry or textbook-based—they’re hands-on, collaborative, and tailored to how neurodivergent brains best learn and thrive. Participants are encouraged to reflect, grow, and share in ways that are safe, empowering, and most importantly—fun.

Offered across Macedon Ranges, Bacchus Marsh, Werribee, Sunbury, and Footscray, Ignite welcomes participants of all experience levels. Whether they’re just beginning to explore who they are or preparing for their next step into adulthood, this program supports each young person at their own pace, celebrating every win along the way.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, live, and gather, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and this land always was, and always will be Aboriginal land. We honour the enduring connection to this land and the ongoing cultural and spiritual practices that continue to enrich our community.
